SHE IS BACK!



So although after a long break,sonam finally gives her appearance on the silver screen ones again,with dharma's production,I Hate Luv Storys.I Hate Luv Storys (I Hate Love Stories) movie is the maxim Jay lives by. But as an assistant director to Veer, the most famous romantic filmmaker of Indian Film Industry, Jay has little option but to live with larger than life, glossy, cinematic love on an everyday basis. Things only get worse when he is made to work under the new production designer on the film… Simran, with whom he shares the strangest first encounter!

Simran loves luv storys; So much so that even her life has begun to resemble one. With her ideal job and the perfect boyfriend, Raj, she lives a blissful, dreamy life; One that is rudely interrupted by Jay's cynicism.

The turmoil's of Jay and Simran's life, is ironically interweaved with the Luv Story that they are working on…. But will Jay and Simran ever find their own Luv Story.


CRITICAL RESPONSE
Among Indian film critics on the review-aggregation website ReviewGang, the film scored 5/10 based on 4 reviews.. Sukhanya Verma of Rediff praised the lead performances and rated the movie 3/5 "It's Imran and Sonam's collective persona and their free-flowing chemistry that makes all the difference. Although the pair deserve better than an amateurishly written romance to scoop out their terrific potential as a combination". . Gauarv Malani of IndiaTimes rated the movie 2/5 and said "If you hate love stories this one’s certainly not for you. Which means this ends up being another love story!" . Nikhat Kazmi of Times of India also praised the lead performances but found the plot predictable and rated the movie 3/5. "Thematically, I Hate Luv Storys, is extremely simplistic, uni-layered and terribly predictable"


SOUND TRACK:

The soundtrack of I Hate Luv Storys is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The film has 5 original songs followed by 3 remixes. The soundtrack was officially released on 27 May 2010. It received a favorable review from Parimal M. Rohit of Buzzine Bollywood, with the author saying, "the soundtrack is phenomenally and breathtakingly romantic. The smooth beats and hypnotic vocals are second to none, and very few soundtracks are as complete as this one."
