So although after a long break,sonam finally gives her appearance on the silver screen ones again,with dharma's production,I Hate Luv Storys.I Hate Luv Storys (I Hate Love Stories) movie is the maxim Jay lives by. But as an assistant director to Veer, the most famous romantic filmmaker of Indian Film Industry, Jay has little option but to live with larger than life, glossy, cinematic love on an everyday basis. Things only get worse when he is made to work under the new production designer on the film… Simran, with whom he shares the strangest first encounter!

Simran loves luv storys; So much so that even her life has begun to resemble one. With her ideal job and the perfect boyfriend, Raj, she lives a blissful, dreamy life; One that is rudely interrupted by Jay's cynicism.

The turmoil's of Jay and Simran's life, is ironically interweaved with the Luv Story that they are working on…. But will Jay and Simran ever find their own Luv Story.

CRITICAL RESPONSE
Among Indian film critics on the review-aggregation website ReviewGang, the film scored 5/10 based on 4 reviews.. Sukhanya Verma of Rediff praised the lead performances and rated the movie 3/5 "It's Imran and Sonam's collective persona and their free-flowing chemistry that makes all the difference. Although the pair deserve better than an amateurishly written romance to scoop out their terrific potential as a combination". . Gauarv Malani of IndiaTimes rated the movie 2/5 and said "If you hate love stories this one’s certainly not for you. Which means this ends up being another love story!" . Nikhat Kazmi of Times of India also praised the lead performances but found the plot predictable and rated the movie 3/5. "Thematically, I Hate Luv Storys, is extremely simplistic, uni-layered and terribly predictable"

SOUND TRACK:

The soundtrack of I Hate Luv Storys is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The film has 5 original songs followed by 3 remixes. The soundtrack was officially released on 27 May 2010. It received a favorable review from Parimal M. Rohit of Buzzine Bollywood, with the author saying, "the soundtrack is phenomenally and breathtakingly romantic. The smooth beats and hypnotic vocals are second to none, and very few soundtracks are as complete as this one."

She may be only two films old in Bollywood but actress Sonam Kapoor is already creating waves globally .The girl is the only Indian to be featured in The Hollywood Reporter's special issue devoted to Asia(the trade bible of Hollywood).

Sonam, who celebrates her 24th birthday on Tuesday is thrilled with the news. "Yes, it is pleasing to be recognized by Hollywood so early in my career, but my success is due to the enormous faith that the Indian film industry has placed in me and the great love that I have been lucky to get from my audiences," Sonam said in a statement.
The article about "the next generation of leaders in the rapidly evolving Asian entertainment sector" prominently features Sonam and the actress has also been presented with a certificate signed by Eric Mika, the publisher of Hollywood Reporter.

But Sonam is in no hurry to migrate to Hollywood.

Script is most important yet

"My heart is in India, and the films we make here can stand comparison with those made anywhere in the world, including Hollywood," the actress said.

"So if and when there is an offer from the West, I will judge it on the same criteria that I choose scripts - whether I believe in the story, the project and the people involved or not; and not just because it has come from Hollywood," Sonam added.

The Hollywood Reporter approvingly calls it “pretty heady stuff” and commends her ability to think quickly on her feet.

2Hrithik all set to romance with Sonam

Sonam Kapoor is certainly going great guns. Recently, she bagged the female lead in Rakesh Mehra's Dilli 6 opposite Abhishek Bachchan, and if reports are to believed, she has also been signed by Rakesh Roshan for his next film opposite Hrithik.

Now that Rakesh is not directing Krrish 2 (Rakesh Mehra has been roped in), he is all set to direct another film, yet untitled. It seems that a couple of days ago, Rakesh paid a visit to Anil Kapoor and asked him if could cast Sonam opposite his son Hrithik. Anil was very thrilled and immediately agreed.

It seems that the director was very impressed by what he saw of Sonam in Saawariya. He wants to ensure that the Hrithk and Sonam pair becomes popular before the Abhishek and Sonam starrer Dilli 6 starts its promos.

Of course, he was not willing to make any announcement, saying only that he was working on the script. The last one had heard was that Sonam was negotiating with Eros International to play the lead in its next film opposite Hrithik. But if Rakesh has his way, he will cast Sonam and Hrithik together before Eros.

We are indeed talking about the rise, rise and super-rise of the 'Surp-rise' discovery of 2007, Sonam Kapoor, who is having the whole of 2009 going in her favour! On the professional front, on one hand, while she has been chosen as the Brand Ambassador of the cosmetic giant L'Oreal and a big film (Delhi 6) lined up for release, on the other; she is all over the place as being the cover-girl of a trillion mags.

Personal life
Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor and niece of producer Boney Kapoor, actor Sanjay Kapoor and Sandeep Marwah. She is the eldest of three children; the others are sister Rhea and brother Harshvardhan.

Kapoor studied at University of East London and then enrolled in the United World College of South East Asia to do her International Baccalaureate. She later graduated from the University of Mumbai with Political Science and Economics as her majors. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. She has received training in classical and Latin dance forms. She is really sexy to many people and currently has a fight with another new commer Dipika. They both came into the Flim Industry at the same time and are trying there best to prove who is the best one.

Looks are deceiving and Sonam is no exception!The very feminine, gorgeous and coy looking Sonam Kapoor is actually pretty bindaas in real life. Not only does the girl love to play all those video games, but she is also a total speed junkie who likes to dance and party as well! After seeing her in all those desi avatars, be it Saawariya, or Delhi 6, not many will know that there's a hep side to this girl. But Sonam has no complaints. She's quite .happy doing good roles!...

Career
Before starting her career off as an actress, Kapoor worked as an assistant under Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and assisted him during the making of his film, Black (2005). She made her debut alongside newcomer Ranbir Kapoor in Bhansali's Saawariya (2007), which failed to do well at the box office.Her performance was opened to good response by most critics.As of August 2008, Kapoor has completed filming for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6, which will release on February 20, 2009.

She starts of with saanwaria ,by sanjay leela bhansali.Although bhansali was not the one who may inspire me for watching the movie .It was on dostoevsky's novel.Whether sonam had thought of this angle or not, i dont know but if she did i must say she is not of a general bollywood type ,because playing such a notable writer's character in the first movie surely is a more literature loyal dicision.She was of course in the central role.But i think bhansali did'nt got dostoevsky much.

Now what can be so special for sonam.Number one she starts with dostoevskies portrait ,second she is carrying on to work with sensible director rakesh om prakash mehra(Again mentioning abhishek is not important,if you are going to watch delhi6 watch it for rakesh,if you are going to listen it listen it for A.r)rakesh is one who directed RDb ,he was also excillent in aks ,(I think abhishek will not agree ,but ask that to your father abhi).

Rakesh is sensible sonam is good (also in acting ,as far as compared to ranbir)so delhi6 could be a good entertainer.She is playing bittu in the movie.And the movie has a Romance centric script.She looks cool.Watch her on 20th feb.
DELHI 6
The movie is reportedly based on Mehra's growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. The film will be Mehra's third directorial venture after critically acclaimed Aks and the immensely successful Rang De Basanti.

Sonam reportedly confirmed taking part in the movie and is paired with Abhishek Bachchan. Rishi Kapoor and Tanvi Azmi are also a part of the film. The film went on the floors December 20, 2007. Amitabh Bachchan reportedly has a small role in the film where he is supposed to play the grandfather to Roshan, played by Abhishek Bachchan. Waheeda Rahman will play the grandmother of the same character. Gulshan Grover has been roped in to play Abhishek Bachchan's dad in the film. Editing for the film is being done by Meghna Aschit and Rakeysh's wife Bharthi. In an interview Rakeysh said that he is not involved with the editing and is really curious to see the outcome of his work on the movie.
